About:

Nothing is permanent except change. Do you respond with acceptance - or with denial or resistance? This workshop is dealing with faster and faster advances in technologies - especially the developments in the field of AI - which are bringing numerous changes in global innovation economy and benefits for society, but sometimes may cause new risks and generate new ethical issues; it will explore futures of technologies and their impacts on the people lives and welfare of human and organisations, citizens and consumers; it will point out crucial paradigm changes in many industries, e.g. in marketing ...

This two half-day workshop will be based on lecture-led sessions with a high level of participation and involvement from the participants’ side.

Expected outcomes:

The workshop will learn to anticipate, adapt and drive creative changes; to provide consumers the innovative relationship that’s worth their attention; realise that profit has many different dimensions. Participants will acquire vivid perception of how AI influences the world, how the world will look like within several years and discover business opportunities. They will better understand global key trends in management and how relevant future research practices are already influencing marketing domain.

Target audience:

Strategists, managers, consultants, researchers, governmental specialists, practitioners, analysts and students with interest in thinking futures, future developments and implementation of AI, especially in areas of AI technology, marketing and management.

  • A PROGNOSTICATION OF THE FUTURE OF AI (from generative adversarial networks, transfer learning and 3D content... to explainable AI, singularity and the ethics of AI...)
  • FUTURIS AND THE PROMISE OF AI TO MANAGEMENT (from data human-centred machine learning, robo-boss and cobots... to smarter data management, AIOps and chatbots...)
  • AI STORM - AI FUTUR IN MARKETING (from logical inference, intelligent search ,robot concierges and conversational interfaces …to signal weighting ,entropy pooling, automatic brand persona customizer and intelligence-driven catalogues)


2nd Day: 21 May 2019, TUESDAY, A.M. (9:00 – 12:00)

  • Future future FUTURO - Ready to find out if technology can ever truly replace an attentive human mind? (from cobots, neural ontology, cloud robotics, swarm robotics, lovotics and claytronics... to neuromorphic computing, substrate-independent minds, post-humans, transcend biology, humachine and cyborgs...)
