Submit Your Paper for the 38th International ICT Convention MIPRO 2015!

The 38th International ICT Convention MIPRO 2015 is traditionally dedicated to information and communication technology, electronics, microelectronics, renewable energy sources, ecology along with a new and high technologies in general.  We are convinced that MIPRO 2015 will attract more than a thousand participants from commerce, science, education, state and local administration, government and local self-government from Croatia and abroad.

You are invited to submit your scientific, proffesional and reviewed papers for one of our conferences, what is an opportunity for you to present results of your research and proffesional work. We particularly encourage scientific interns and students attending graduate study programs to apply with their papers. The presentations may contain results of scientific research, development of new products and services including results obtained in doctoral and masters’ theses. We also welcome papers with descriptions of technical, software, hardware and other solutions as well as papers which show the use of nanotechnology, ecology and renewable energy sources. Besides, there are also expected papers of experts in the field of education and education technologies. We invite chairs of european and other projects on science, research, information, technology to present their achievements and experiences. Furthermore, we would like to point out the papers which reflect on programs as a result of european cooperation. MIPRO 2015 is a technological convention opened to all of those who seek for a technological change.

Apart from the conferences there are organized seminars of lifelong learning, round tables, panels, debates, workshops and a traditional exhibition of ICT, electronic and microelectronic products, services and technical solutions. Producers of such equipment, products and services are invited  to present themselves and their products.

We are opened to accept any suggestions and ideas which could improve and widen the scope of our conference, please contact us at and we'll discuss your proposals.

According to the definition of activities and orientation of MIPRO Promotional Partnership organizing the EU project meetings. Within the DC VIS Conference MIPRO Croatian Society, University of Ljubljana, University of Zagreb in cooperation with COST TD 1104 Action European network for development of electroporation-based technologies and treatments (EP4Bio2Med) organize COST meeting, which will be held on Thursday, May 29, from 9 to 11 (Hall Camelia2, Grand hotel Adriatic).

MIPRO 2014: PhD Borut Geršak presents worldwide success in cardio surgery

At the 37th International ICT Convention MIPRO 2014, as part of the conference DC VIS, section on Biomedical Engineering, world-renowned heart surgeon PhD Borut Geršak from Ljubljana will hold an invited lecture.


Borut Geršak's invited lecture on topic Convergent Procedure - a Hybrid Approach in Treating of Persistent Atrial Fibrillation is scheduled for Thursday, May 29 in Hall Camelia 2, Grand hotel Adriatic, Opatija, starting at 8:15 PM.

Anil K. Jain

Anil Jain is a University Distinguished Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Michigan State University where he conducts research in pattern recognition, computer vision and biometrics. He has received Guggenheim fellowship, Humboldt Research award, Fulbright fellowship, IEEE Computer Society Technical Achievement award, IEEE W. Wallace McDowell award, IAPR King-Sun Fu Prize, and ICDM Research Award. He served as the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Trans. Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (1991-94) and is a Fellow of ACM, IEEE, AAAS, IAPR and SPIE.  Holder of eight patents in biometrics, he is the author of several books on biometrics and pattern recognition. He served as a member of the National Academies panels on Information Technology, Whither Biometrics and Improvised Explosive Devices (IED). He was a member of the Defense Science Board.
