Title: Modern Computer 3D Visualization Methods in Virtual Medical Modelling

Duration: 15 min.

Abstract: The research SabaLAB (www.sabalab.eu) work plan is based on proven methods of CAEA (Computer Aided Ergonomy Analyses) by prof. Sarajko Baksa, Ph.D. and many years of scientific research within the field of computer biomechanics of humanoid 3D models. The results, insights, reflections and conclusions of the research work on the 3D project of biological virtualization of the respiratory volume biomechanics of personal distribution of scientific three-dimensional spatial model analytics will be applicable in other countries in the region, EU Member States as well as in other countries of the world, considering the threat in a Pandemic form, and as such will greatly contribute to the improvement in future activities to combat SARS-CoV-2 viruses and the new infectious disease COVID-19 for the purpose of protecting the overall human population.

Biography: Professor Sarajko Baksa, Ph.D. has been a pioneer in 3D spatial visualizations, simulations, animations and scientific visualizations for more than 30 years. He was among the first two teams in the world to realize the virtual movement of a real human being on a scientific basis. He has also received numerous awards for his work within the subject area. Prof. Baksa has published a number of scientific research and professional papers in the field of 3D computer research, and is the holder of a number of university courses. He has developed a large number of computer programs and experimental equipment regarding research within the scope of this project. Furthermore, he is also the Head of the Laboratory of Applied Automation, Polytechnic of Međimurje in Čakovec, and an external research associate at the 3D-Medical Imaging Laboratory at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Slavonski Brod.
