As part of the MIPRO Robotics 2026 - 5^th Robotics Conference and the celebration of the 30^th anniversary of the Zadar University Regatta, a Robot-Drone Demo Convoy will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

The event organizers are MIPRO, the University of Zadar and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, with the support of the Uskok Sailing Club (JK Uskok).

A fleet of 10-20 sailboats, with skippers provided, will welcome guests from the academic community, business and media on a convoy sailing from JK Uskok in Zadar to the Kornati Islands. Each boat can additionally accommodate 5 to 7 participants.

Several anchorages are planned during the voyage, where demonstrations of underwater robotics and aerial drones will be organized. Conference participants and event guests are invited to participate on board. The convoy is also open to all interested parties to join with their own owned or rented boats.

The ships will host:

• Academic guests
• Industry and startup representatives
• Robotics and AI researchers
• Investors and business partners
• Media
• RTA conference guests and participants

Each ship will accommodate an additional 5–7 participants, with skippers and security support provided.

Connecting academic, business and media entities with the aim of socializing, establishing cooperation and disseminating information about modern robot-drone systems.

Kukljica (island of Ugljan), planned time: around 10:00
