MIPRO 2015: Invited talk from prof. Pierpaolo Palestri at MEET conference
Professor Pierpaolo Palestri will present his invited paper, „State-of-the-Art Semi-Classical Monte Carlo Method for Carrier Transport in Nanoscale Transistors“ at MIPRO MEET conference, on Thursday, May 28, at 9.00 am, Bellavista Hall, Grand hotel Adriatic.
Pierpaolo Palestri is an Associate Professor at the University of Udine. He was a Post-Doctoral Member of Technical Staff at Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies, Murray Hill, New Jersey, where he worked on high-speed silicon-germanium bipolar technologies. His research interests include the modeling of carrier transport, hot-carrier and tunneling phenomena in nanoscale devices and Non-Volatile-Memory cells, as well as the design of integrated circuits for high-frequency applications. These activities are carried out in the framework of 12 European projects and networks in collaboration with companies (Infineon Technologies, NXP, ST Microelectronics) and with other Italian universities.
He has coauthored a book, about 90 papers in international journals and more than 100 papers in international conferences with peer review. [back to events]
