MIPRO2019 Convention and the WS5 Workshop on “GPU Programming and Applications”, organise visits with the expert guidance to the supercomputer BURA located at the University of Rijeka. During the visit, the visitors will get acquainted with the architecture of one of the fastest computers in this part of Europe, and its application in numerous fields of science, technology and pharmacology, and the ways and the possibilities of its use.

The transportation to the supercomputer will be organised for all interested parties, and there will be two scheduled visits. The bus will depart from the Grand Hotel Adriatic on 21^st May 2019 at 3:00 PM and on 23^rd May 2019 at 2:00 PM. The number of visitors is limited to 50 per visit. The estimated time of the visit is 2 hours, including a bus ride to the University of Rijeka, where the computer is located, and the return to Opatija (in front of the Grand Hotel Adriatic).
