Steps Towards Statistical and Sentiment Analysis of Guest Reviews
Guest reviews are very important as a feedback for improvement of future activities of hotel managers. There are many papers and researches that deal with these issues. Some of the papers are focused on sentiment analysis; some are focused on way of gathering and structuring data. In this paper we are proposing creation of semi-automatic system for statistical and sentiment analysis of guest reviews and creation of report based on the results of the analysis. The report should be ultimate feedback for hotel managers and the decisions they make. We also present some of the available data analysis; the whole amount of different statistical analysis is much wider. Analyzed data are taken from known reservation systems like booking.com and tripadvisor.com. However, some data are unavailable, or reservation sites make them unavailable. The point in this paper is the review analysis, not the development of scraper, crawler or tools for sentiment analysis. We have tested several different tools appropriate for such an analysis.

E/2 Wireless Regulation of Energy Based on Temperature Controled Cooking Process
Energy in Process of cooking is often regulated based on different preset levels of Energy in open regulation loop. Without closed loop regulation more then 50% of Energy are wasted and over-boiling and boil dry situation are result with dangers fire hazard situation. MSX patents on regulation and quick development in last Years of Sensors, wireless data transfers and big microprocessor power in small package was the base for developing E/2. In E/2 system new developed HW and und unique and patented proprietary protocol of wireless communication between cooking stove, sensors and smart phones – other smart devices is included. E/2 cooking sensors and plug-ins for stoves are presented in this article, together with experimental results. For automatic temperature based cooking energy regulation few different sensors are invented and E/2 standard sensor is universal detachable sensor and E/2 handle are explained in details in article with few revolutionary preset cooking modes This preset mode combines manual and automatic cooking. Many dishes need to be prepared (e.g. sautéed) before they are let to cook for a longer period of time when user’s presence is not required. Cook4me allows a user to express one's culinary imagination to the fullest. Steam cooking is globally considered to be the healthiest method of cooking. E/2 technology is suitable for steaming automatically. With cooking algorithms saving of more then 50% Energy and 80% time is achieved.

IEEE Young Professionals - Building Local IEEE Community That Matters

The MIPRO INOVA section in its 4th edition will provide content and networking opportunities for everyone interested in innovative ideas and learning about ways to bridge product research and commercialization stages. It is organized under the auspices of Croatian Independent Software Exporters - an organization that gathers more than 150 Croatian software companies oriented to innovation and building products and services for the world market.

During the session, several R&D teams will present their projects and talk about challenges and results they had through various development phases.

A panel discussion with our presenters and other distinguished guests will aim to bring some answers to questions of integrating academic research with commercial product development, finding product market fit and financing.

A third part of MIPRO INOVA section is organized in partnership with Croatian IEEE Young Professionals Affinity Group. They will present IEEE Elevate project that was initiated with a goal to help building links between academic and industry professionals. That project and other industry oriented activities recently brought them the “IEEE Hall of Fame Award”. We especially invite IEEE members within first two decades of their professional careers to attend this session and learn what it takes to build and utilize IEEE Young Professionals community in their local IEEE Sections.
Attendance to this track will require a prior registration on MIPRO INOVA web site.

Opatija - 170 years of tourism:

Opatija – the cradle of European and Croatian tourism, a favourite destination of the aristocracy, film and music stars, artists, writers and visitors from all over the world, who come here every year to enjoy the charm of this Adriatic town – this year celebrates its 170th anniversary as a tourist resort.

This is a tradition that provides certain obligations, but is also a guarantee of quality. The reputation of a top destination that stretches back seventeen decades is today reflected in the wide range of facilities and services on offer that all together make Opatija an attractive destination for all seasons.

Opatija owes its unique image to its ideal location on the spot where the wooded slopes of Mount Učka descend all the way down to the coast, providing perfect shade along the thirteen-kilometre-long Lungomare seafront promenade. Just as the Opatija area is a meeting point of the sea and the mountain, its visual impression is a blend of different styles, as this is a melting pot where magnificent Central European elegance, playful Mediterranean charm and the historically-rich medieval architecture of the small towns in the hinterland come together.

In addition to the architecture that leaves a strong impression on every visitor, especially when the town is viewed from the sea, and its lush parks and gardens that have been Opatija's trademarks since its beginnings as a tourist resort, Opatija also has hotels and restaurants whose quality ranks alongside that of any other European destination. Opatija's gastronomic offer is based on a Mediterranean cuisine rich in fresh fish and seafood and locally grown seasonal ingredients, while the traditional recipes of this region reveal a wealth of flavours and can be sampled in the area's numerous taverns.

Opatija entered the European stage in the mid-19th century as a health resort for the European nobility, and health tourism has remained one of the main segments of the town's tourism offer right up to the present day. However, top medical experts and a wide range of spa & wellness services are just one of the reasons for visiting this town located at the top of Kvarner Bay. Also known as "the town of festivals", Opatija boasts a number of events throughout the year. The theatrical performances and concerts that take place at the magnificent Open Air Theatre are particularly impressive.
