MIPRO 2019 Invited Lecturer, Paul Timmers, has published CHALLENGED BY "DIGITAL SOVEREIGNTY", Journal of Internet Law, vol 23, (6), pp. 1-20, 2019. It concludes that 'digital sovereignty' poses acute challenges for law- and policy-makers to deal with the interplay of 'code' and 'law', the cost of sovereignty, and the non-neutrality of technology.
Prof. Timmers is a Research Associate of the University of Oxford / Department of Politics and International Relations, Visiting Professor at the University of Rijeka and EIT Health Chief Advisor.
