The 2nd Trebinje Energy Summit – SET, held in Trebinje in Bosnia and Herzegovina, was concluded on the 21st of May. It is the leading business event in the region dealing with the topic of the future of energy and sustainability of energy production.

It is a business event which brought together a large number of experts, scientists and representatives of power companies and manufacturers of equipment and power facilities. KONČAR was its silver sponsor.

Designed as a series of lectures, presentations and panel discussions, SET has for the past two days been a place of regional meetings and conversations about the future of energy and sustainability, renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, sustainable energy transmission and reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, in which KONČAR representatives were active participants.

On the first day of the Summit, the presentation “Solutions for digitalization of the power system” was given, presenting the product range and areas of use of KONČAR Group’s products and services. Special emphasis was placed on “green and advanced”; SET participants were thus introduced in detail to the monitoring systems for primary power engineering equipment developed in KONČAR – Electrical Engineering Institute, a new generation of platforms for remote control and supervision of the power system by KONČAR – Power Plant and Electric Traction Engineering, as well as a solution of KONČAR – Electronics and Informatics for battery storage of electricity. On the second day of the Summit, a panel discussion entitled “Hybrid Energy Future” was held, in which the KONČAR representative discussed solutions, technologies and innovative products for energy transition.
