On Tuesday, January 8 2019, Prof. Karolj Skala PhD (MIPRO General Program Chair), Prof. Mladen Mauher PhD (the first chair of DE/DS - Digital Economy/Digital Society conference), Davor Salamon PhD (DE/DS Steering Committee member) as MIPRO representatives and Đuro Njavro PhD (Dean of the Zagreb School of Economics and Management) with his associates Zoran Barac PhD (Director), M.Sc. Karmela Aleksić-Maslać (Postgraduate student), Kristina Šorić PhD (Member of the Department for Management, Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation also the representative of the Doctoral Study of Business Administration, which is performed in cooperation with Sheffield Hallam University) and Philip Vranešić MBA as ZSEM representatives had a meeting at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management (ZSEM - https://www.zsem.hr). It was an initial meeting aimed at identifying and mapping the interests of effectuating partnership and higher level of cooperation in convergence and interaction between scientific, higher education and professional research and new study programs in social, technical, natural and human sciences based on the phenomena and possibilities of cybernetic-physical systems focused towards the overall economic and social transformation - MIPRO HUB for digital economy/digital society. The meeting resulted in a mutual understanding of mission and vision compliance as well as a common interest in encouraging, supporting and shaping the DE/DS Hub.
